A Tribute to my Friends, those that I have and those about to be...

Friend. It's someone you share your thoughts with. Someone you can trust. Someone you can blurt out all the injustice and hatred you have for the world. A friend is somehow like a journal, or even a blog. The only difference is it replies back to you with the wors, "Okey lang yan".

It's someone that sneaks with you inside the MSPA Room, and the Conference Room. Someone that eats lunch with you beside the Elementary Science Lab to discuss Soccerbaseball tactics and good old TofiLuck. Someone that goes to the Chapel with you every morning. Someone that you visit every Friday to play Heroes III in their PC. Someone that cries with you beside the Speech Lab over a problem. Someone that gives you friendship advice based from experience. Someone that calls you "mom" even if you're actually smaller than her. (I don't deny it.)

It's someone that cheere for you while you're performing on stage. Or wishes you luck when you're in the batters' area, while silently the pitcher and hoping that the catcher gets hit by the bat. Someone that makes preposterous jingles such as, "Home Insurance. Will save you moeny, so buy now from the bank!" Someone that disappears when you entrust your wallet to him so that he can laugh about it later. Someone that cheers with you during the Basketball Championship. Someone that fixes your lj because it looks too plain like poo. (Thanks, Gaby.)

It's someone that you ask to scan the Mirror Card because you plan to use it as a mood theme. Someone that you ask for photo paper to print the Mirror Card and forgets it eventually like his past promises. Someone that didn't leave you and supported you all the way when you broke a window while hitting a "home run".Someone that loves to squish yur hand because it's "so soft" when it's actually so fat. Someone that you feel bad when you see her sometimes becaue you think you've become a very bad influence to her. Someone that calls you in the middle of the night and asks, "Are you busy?" which is the start of a very long heart-to-heart talk until 10 o'clock, which is way past her bed time.

These someones are what you call frinds. And these friends are someones that you'll treasure. I have no definite reason why I wrote this drabble. I guess I just woke up one day and realized how lucky I am to have such friends. Just a few friends but treasured ones. I know one day we'll separate. Some off to a good college, some to a good job offer, others to another life. But I'll never forget that they once, and always will, walked with me in my path of life.
