WAH! Holy week over! The best way to probably describe my holy week is part-boring, part-fun, part-adventure, part-head aching, part-HOT!, part-anything.

There is absolutely nothing to do in the house! Limited internet access. Nothing to actually watch because of all the faith TV shows they're showing. What more can one ask for? I entertained myself for the whole week doing chores, giving the house a make over and deciding what I should cook for dinner. I even trimmed the bushes outside...

It will sound weird that my Bisita Iglesia is the reason why my Semana Santa is fun. You had no idea how we went to all those Churches. One Church each station. Usually we'd do it two each Church but my Dad made a promise to himself that he was going to complete it this year, a sign of gratitude for his lengthened health.
Did you know that the Vice Gov. of Laguna Edwin Olivares offered free water to passersby who were doig the Bisita? He probably thought that people would remember his name. Well, I did. Thanks, man. Although next time, make the water cold.
We battled the heat and all those people just to go to this one Church in which its parking lot is four blocks away so we had to walk all the way. The ultra narrow street was so bombarded with vendors and children, it was hard to even take one step without someone stepping at your feet. My brother even had someone throw a cigarette butt on his slippers. He had a burn. There was one moment when I had to refrain myself from buying that Jungho and Jang-geum poster hanging in one stall. Darn, have to keep going. We even had to race with pigs! Sounds weird? Well, there was this truck and like us, it was making its way through the narrow street. So malamang, mabagal ang pacing niya and we had to tail it because we were heading at the same direction. There came to a point when I was almost cheek to cheek with this pig! You see, the pigs were at the back of th truck, nothing to separate them from the world but a group of intersected bars.

If I really have absolutely nothing to do, I get this College Entrance Test Reviewer my Ate got a few years back and brushed up on my academics. My review classes start officially on Monday. Ah, finally. Something to do... Mind you, I need to widen my vocabulary.
