the jewel shines bright
Jun. 8th, 2006 01:26 pmWell, finally, after seven or so months of going to sleep at 11:30, DaejangGeum a.k.a. Jewel in the Palace will finally end. I have never found myself so absorbed with a Korean series ever before. Let alone, for me to be fascinated with a periodical drama, who would have thought?...
I feel that something will be lacking as I begin school in the next few days without me seeing Lee Young-ae and Ji Jin-hee's faces. Ah, truly I will miss them. I will miss how Jang-geum inspires everyone around her, how she prevails no matter what, and how she always tries to swim against the currents they call society and tradition. It's hard to find a series as good as this. hopefully, I can get a copy of it soon...
