Freedom.

It is word shouted by the people of Bataan during the war. The word pronounced by heroes as they made their way to the battlefield. It is a word music to every citizen's ears, including mine.

How long I have waited for freedom to come. How long I have longed to hear it's welcome. How long...

It's not that I force myself to be imprisoned, for my responsibilities are my own sentinels to my cage. They are the barricades that hinder me from flying. They are the force that compells me to stay in the dark when the light is inches away.

To be bound by nothing, attached to nothing. That is my dream. That is my refuge. How long shall I wait for the keys to my cell? How long shall I hold the bars of cold steel? How much more time must I ponder on the events of my future? I shall wait, yearn, be patient until I hear the click of the lock that signals my freedom.

Do you even know what you just posted?

Human was never given freedom, free will, maybe, to choose.

Even if you think THAT is freedom, you don't realize that you are being bound on what you think.

Cognito ergo sum

If you think you are free maybe you could make yourself feel, as if you are free. But that's you choice. Free will.

IF you care about my opinion, I would say you're being a coward, by trying to escape what is real.

Though, I'm one to talk. I'm a coward myself.
