after the darkness:)
Oct. 1st, 2006 04:44 pmPerson Enduring Absence of Electricity Log
Day 1:
watching Mirmo de Pon when tv suddenly turns off, first awareness of black out, no idea how strong Milenyo is since no tv, all is fine, heavy wind, all turn insane when kuya used up all of laptop's battery, persona swears brother, no entertainment, water is scarce, all start to "igib" tubig, almost damaged eyes while taking bath in dark bathroom.
Day 2:
happy sweet sixteen, first friend to greet is rj, what a birthday, celebrant gets hell bored, decides to go to ATC and treat self, netopia is full, b/connected is closed, coolman is out of order!, decides to enjoy nestea and waffle in food court, goes home, enjoys candle lit birthdady party with ice cream and cake, tries hard to eat everything since fridge is out of order, lights lucis to illuminate dark street.
Day 3:
wakes up in middle of night because of heat, at brink of insanity when at exactly 12:15 am, houselights turn on, electricity finally distributed, good news; water increases, but there's a catch! water dirty, parents stop doing laundry since water brown, almost late for Church since cannot take bath, writes the Ms.Aus.BuggingMeForTheWholeWeek article, unable to buy new correctin fluid (last one got lost), grocery, go home, write this, Amen.
~Whew, what a day, I mean a 3-day. It is the first time in Ayala Alabang history that there was a 3-day black-out. You should check out the trees. Almost all of them are uprooted...
Anyway, this is a little entry that I've been working on since I entered senior life. Check it out. Suggestions are highly welcomed.
