May. 5th, 2007 07:58 pmI finished my enrolment at UP yesterday. Fortunately, the lines weren't so long as they were legendarily told.
I only passed one subject out of the six that I took in my APE. Can you believe that?! You needed to have 50% correct answers to pass and the grade that I got with the only subject I passed was a mere 51%. I was on the brink of even failing that!!! English, History, Math, I failed them all. And I am not sure if I'm pleased to announce that I need not learn Physics and Chemistry theories in my college life. I kind of liked that subject and will surely miss it a lot.
My schedule has 3 Math subjects. One of which, the hardest of them all, is supposed to be taken everyday, from Monday to Friday. Oh, joy. What joy. I am about to cry. (Heaven, have mercy.) My PE is Self-Defense. That is one thing to be merry about.
The medical examination took ages. I waited two or three hours for my turn. Good thing that I brought a book with me. The med exam consisted of chest, genital and anal examinations. You can imagine my shock when the facilitator announced if it was alright for the mothers to give consent that their daughters be examined by a male doctor. I was reading a romance novel, then. And you know how romance novels are. Gods, but I said To hell with propriety! and went marcing down the male doctor's waiting area. I need not elaborate the experience. Ask other UP freshmen.
I arrived at UP at 7:30 am, I left it at 5:00 pm, with my arse aching badly from sitting.
