Tumayo na sila. Yes, it's my turn... The mattress was just positioned too low in the floor. It made me feel small, as if my current height wasn't a problem. So, with my intellectual prowess gifted only to ISTJ types, I placed the mattress over the chair platform and voila! a Bed. All for myself. Mwahahahaha!
