all for a pinch of independence
Jan. 20th, 2006 09:29 amFor the first time, I commuted ALONE from school to home. I took a tryke to exit at A-Z Road, and then I found out that I didn't have enough fare so I walked all the way from Insular Life, to ATC, to Ayala Alabang. It took me 45 minutes, one hour if I didn't take the tryke.
When I got home, I felt so wasted and tired. I felt worse when I learned that Daddy was waiting all the while for me at school.
The reason I commuted was just because I wanted to feel how it was like. How it feels to walk along the roads, begging drivers to stop and let you ride, saying "Para po.". That was it. But when I heard that my ever-so-stict, KJ ang unexpressive father waited for me the whole while I felt like crying. I don't blame myself. I'm just touched...
